How the reviewed nutrient rate & credits calculator works

Remaining nutrient rate = max(locally reviewed base rate − the two applicable entered credits, 0). Total remaining nutrient mass is that rate × hectares. Any credit amount above the base is shown separately rather than turning the order negative.

This worksheet applies a rate you supply; it does not interpret soil-test ppm or generate an agronomic recommendation. Crop, region, test method, guidance version, nutrient form and credit eligibility must already be established by appropriate local guidance. The same nutrient and area/time basis is required throughout. No universal recommendation coefficients or environmental/application approval are supplied.

Quantities use the stated units and finite bounded inputs. Whole purchases round up under the documented model; cost components round half-up to cents before totals are summed. Undefined ratios stay unavailable. π and logarithms use normal numeric precision. Display rounding does not alter the entered assumptions.

Worked example

An independently reviewed 100 kg/ha base less compatible 20 and 10 kg/ha credits leaves 70 kg/ha. Across five hectares that is 350 kg nutrient. A 20 kg/ha base instead leaves zero and shows 10 kg/ha credits above the base.
