How the solution molarity from mass calculator works
Pure solute grams = entered bulk grams × purity fraction. Moles = pure grams ÷ molar mass in g/mol. Molarity in mol/L = moles ÷ positive final solution litres. Zero solute mass or purity gives zero calculated moles and molarity.
The correct chemical, hydrate form, purity and final solution volume must be supplied. No molecular-weight lookup, chemical identification, density, reaction, preparation step or therapeutic/industrial dose is inferred. Final solution volume is not simply an instruction to add that much solvent.
Quantities use the stated units and finite bounded inputs. Whole purchases round up under the documented model; cost components round half-up to cents before totals are summed. Undefined ratios stay unavailable. π and logarithms use normal numeric precision. Display rounding does not alter the entered assumptions.
Worked example
10 g at 100% entered purity and 100 g/mol is 0.1 mol. In 2 L final solution, molarity is 0.05 mol/L. Increasing mass to 20 g gives 0.1 mol/L.
