How the farm machine rental comparison calculator works
For positive work, divide required hours by usable hours per billed rental day and round upward. Apply the minimum days, price all billed days and add one fee plus actual used hours times additional operating cost.
Zero required hours means no rental order and suppresses rental days and fees. The alternative is the total entered and remains present at zero work.
Rental-day arithmetic does not interpret weekends, meter-hour limits, overtime, damage cover, eligibility or availability. Quotes need the same fuel, operator, transport and operation scope; include any supplier-specific charges explicitly.
Worked example
Eighty hours at eight hours/day requires 10 billed days. At $500/day plus $200 and $20/used hour, rental costs $6,800 versus an $8,000 alternative. Eighty-one hours needs 11 days and costs $7,320.
