How the campaign unit-cost metrics calculator works

CTR is clicks divided by impressions; click-to-lead rate is unique leads divided by clicks. Both are shown as percentages. This single-click funnel requires clicks no greater than impressions and unique leads no greater than clicks.

CPC is spend divided by clicks, CPL is spend divided by leads and CPM is spend divided by impressions times 1,000. Unit costs round half-up to cents. A zero denominator returns an unavailable result rather than a zero cost.

Use the same period, currency, attribution window and campaign scope throughout. Repeated conversions per click, view-through leads, lead quality and incrementality need a different measurement definition. These are entered activity ratios, not revenue ROAS or profitability.

Worked example

With 100,000 impressions, 2,000 clicks, 100 unique leads and $3,000 spend, CTR is 2%, click-to-lead rate is 5%, CPC is $1.50, CPL is $30 and CPM is $30.
